This Colonial style house built in 1785  has been the home of the Queens Historical Society for over 40 years. This historic home in Queens has been re-located twice throughout history and now sits on a permanent site in beautiful Weeping Beech Park.

 

The house has been a museum since the 1970s and has a range of exhibits on display relating to both the homestead itself and to the historic Queens area. Learn the history of Kingsland Homestead, find out about te people who owned and lived in it and culture of the time when you explore the upstairs rooms of the house which are decorated in Victorian period style. This Queens house museum is open  Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday year round.
