Town of Farmington

Town of Farmington

The Gateway to the Finger Lakes!

As the gateway to the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY, the town of Farmington is home to about 11,000 residents and boasts miles of rolling hills and farmland.  Located about 25 miles southeast of Rochester, the town was named after Farmington, CT.

In the summer, the town hosts all sorts of recreational activities like outdoor adventure boot camps, Zumba, yoga, and card-making and scrapbooking classes.  Local businesses include the Finger Lakes Gaming and Race Track, the only privately-owned Thoroughbred horse racing track in all of NY state.  Currently in construction is the Aquazonia Indoor Waterworld at Glacier Lakes Resort, a large indoor waterpark with a "lost world civilization" theme.
