Located in a Dutch Colonial historic house from the early 1700s this historical museum has exhibitions and displays on a range of subjects ranging from the early American currencies to Dutch farm art. Special exhibitions change regularly so visitors can come back often and learn about something new each time they visit.  Learn about the architecture and history of the historic house in which the museum is located as you tour the rooms and see the period decorations and artwork.

Learn the History of Queens

Located in an 18th century colonial farmhouse, this Queens history museum and archive is dedicated to preserving and creating interest in the history of Queens. When you visit you can walk upstairs in the farmhouse and see rooms decorated in Victorian style and see how the former residents of the house lived. The museum's collections include atlases, maps, photographs, paintings and other objects that tell Queens' 300 years of history. 

 

Programs and events connected to Queens and its history take place at this museum regularly including concerts, historical lectures and historic walking tours of Queens. Open year round Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students.
