Canoe along the Bronx's 23-mile river and explore one of the borough's little known marvels!  In addition to canoeing; the river is perfect for fishing, strolling, biking, and nature study.  Locals adore the Bronx River, as it's a place that has remained true to itself in a region that has undergone many major changes.

Whether you're interested in canoeing, kayaking, or biking; the Bronx River Alliance's recreation program sponsors a slew of activities that will fulfill your needs.  During paddling season, the program offers a full calendar of public canoe tours.  You can even schedule a private tour, if you'd like!
