This historical society and historic museum in Brooklyn has the most wide ranging collection of Brooklyn related materials in existence. With a variety of both permanent and special exhibitions this museum offers a fascinating look at the history of this borough of New York. From historical maps that date as far back as the late 1500s, to documents and letters on microfilm, visitors can explore and inspect a wide collection of artifacts and displays.

 

Located within a Brooklyn landmark building, this historical museum and library will captivate those with an interest in the history of Brooklyn or NYC. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday year round. Admission is $6 per adult visitor.
