Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens

Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens

Thousands of Exotic and Local Plants and Flowers

These upstate NY botanical gardens feature both outdoor gardens and an extensive collection of indoor gardens. Walk through the traditional Victorian ivy and herb house which features the largest public ivy collection in the world.  Explore the palm dome - a 67 foot tall dome  filled with towering palm trees. Or for something truly exotic visitors can enter the Panama Cloud Forest and experience the sounds and smells of orchids, bromeliads and more South American plants.

Move to the outside of the grounds and explore the shrub and perennial garden. In the warmer months this garden is bursting with life and color. Hike through the South Park arboretum and see the towering trees and beautiful vistas of meadows and lakes. This upstate NY botanical garden and arboretum is open Monday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
