Long Island Ballet that is a Joy to Watch 

Founded in 1995, this ballet company on Long Island has a goal of providing a stage for talented ballet dancers whether professional or pre-professional. Each season Lumiere Ballet puts on several ballets, both originally staged and choreographed ballets and traditional classic ballets. The wide range of talent and influence that can be found among Lumiere's dancers is evident in each of their performances.

Not just bringing dance to Long Island ballet performances by Lumiere take place throughout the state. In an effort to culturally enrich the community, Lumiere puts on several free ballets in parks as well as offering lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
