One of the Top Museums in Upstate NY!

Named a Top 20 Science Center by Parents magazine, The Children's Museum of Science and Technology allows your kids to explore, discover, and imagine to their hearts' desire!  Your children will be entertained by the museum's variety of animal shows, planetarium shows, workshops, and much more.   

One of the great exhibits is Living Indoor Hudson River, in which your kids get to explore one of America's most historically significant tidal rivers.  Or take them to Weather Front, where they'll get to learn where weather comes from and how weather systems work.  See-more's Explore Store, the museum's gift shop, offers a large range of imaginative toys and souvenirs that all ages will enjoy.

Family Fun Learning How Things Work

This great museum is both a fascinating and an affordable place to take your kids for a day trip. Open Thursday through Sunday to the public, tickets are $5 per person. If you have little ones, bring them Wednesday afternoon for the special "Toddler Explorer and More Time."

Visit the Butterfly House to see the life cycle of these beautiful creatures from eggs into butterfly. Learn about wind and solar power and how they work in the Go Power...Naturally! exhibit. Visit Operation W.I.L.D. and see a collection of living exotic animals and learn about their native habitats. You and your children won't easily run out of things to do at this educational and fun kids museum in Upstate New York.
