After the lighthouse became fully automated in 1976, the Victorian-era light keeper's quarters was converted to a hostel. Explore the Lighthouse Museum next door. In the town of Cape Vincent, visit the Historical Museum, Fisheries Station - Aquarium and Breakwater Gallery. Take the ferry from Cape Vincent for a day trip to Wolfe Island and Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Antique Boat Museum in Clayton - 12 miles NE. The Tibbets Point Lighthouse has different hours of operation for customers to follow. It is open Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day weekend.
