Central Park

Countless Possibilities for Fun

Since 1962, Central Park has been a National Historic Landmark. Take a rest by a pond or lake and enjoy the beauty of the nature in the heart of Manhattan. A large area of natural woods will make you feel as if you were somewhere in the wilderness.

Try some of the other numerous activities which the park offers such as bicycling, jogging, and skateboarding, or visit the park to see some of the summer festivals. Row your boat or just gaze upon some of the 50 fountains, monuments, and sculptures. You can also enjoy skating in the two ice rinks, one of which becomes a swimming pool during July and August.
