Currently under construction is the Greenway Bike Path in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The designated bike path offers riders beautiful scenic views of the park's surroundings. The path contains a two-way bike lane and a pedestrian walkway, and you can bike anytime during park hours (6 A.M. to 1 A.M.).
Please remember that cycling is only permitted within the designated bike path. You cannot bike on park paths or the pier promenades. If you need to lock up your bike, bike racks are located throughout the park. Once construction is completed on the Greenway Bike Path, it will be a 14-mile route for transportation and recreation, and extend from Greenpoint to Sunset Park in Brooklyn.
